guys i really need help with this, i posted a couple of days ago and noone replied :nono: i noticed that my car hesitates when i step on it, usually on the freeway. i thought it was a fuel pump problem but i scanned my car and everything is good. no codes no check engine lights, someone told me it could be my plugs, i used autolite platinums gapped at .054. what could it be? any advice would help

when was the last time you cleaned the maf? i see you have a K&N filter. some times the oil will deposit itself on the maf and cause the maf to send the wrong signal. i don't know much about you mod guys

can ur K&N, clean your MAF, clean you IAT sensor, clean the FRONT of your throttle body, clean/replace your spark plugs, check all your spark plugs wires to enusre they are on tight, change your fuel filter, run a can of seafoam...

those are all my ideas ... holpe they help...

does it have any other problems?

Could be a couple of things. A bad spark plug is what it sounds like to me.

How long has it been since you had a basic tune up?

good point, someone told me that the plugs have to be double platinums. i put autolite single platinums. could that be a source?

i run the bosche 4 prong irryidum (sp?) and i love them... honestly, ive heard problems of the single platnum... id suggest something a little better than the single plats....

anyways, to tell if your plugs are bad, take them out and look at it... if the prong is touching the electrode, watch that cylinder... if carbon has created a "bridge" from the prong to the electrode, its bad... if the prong is broken off... watch that cylinder, its bad.... if the gab is LARGE, its bad...

basically, a healthy spark plug will have a slightly larger gap (they get larger over time, so the closer to your stock gap, the better,) also, the soft part around the electrode should be a solid tan color... if its black, its bad (rich) if it looks burned (lean)...
