Need help: Fuel Pressure Regulator

Did I mention it is a PIA to hook up? when I hook that line up, I first stick my intake on. I have studs to hold my upper on so I keep the very top/bottom stud in place that are the shortest so that it keeps it lined up but I can still move/tilt it a bit. At that point I have JUST enough room to get my hands in and I know it is a 1/4" hose clamp I use to hold it onto the barb and tighten it down but it is one of those things that I can't see any part of, I often have my eyes closed as I imagine what I am seeing based one what my hands/fingers feel.

Well, the o-rings and replacement pigtails arrived from LMR today. Guess what I’m doing on my day off tomorrow??!!

Snapped the fuel pressure gauge off at the base of the fuel rail.

…and the hits just keep coming :-(

Nothing like working with 30yr old plastic harness and wires. Wonder how many times it cycled from cold/hot/cold? Keep going, you'll get there.

Crap, spoke too soon (editing) use an easy out or just take the damn thing off and make sure you get it out.

crimp connectors are all wrong under the hood. Unless you are going to cover them with marine heat shrink to seal them, they will eventually get wet, corrode and cause problems as resistance increases.

I did the heat shrink AND wrapped them with electrical tape

Anybody know what I need to get to replace it? -4an? -6an? And is the broken piece that needs replacing an “adapter”? A fitting? Or ???

Home Depot? Lowe’s? True Value hardware store??

That piece should just be a shrader valve. I got no idea what thread pitch it is or where to find one meant for that hole but a shrader valve is what it be.
