Okay if you have read my intro thread I'm doing a 5.0 build that is getting some serious parts and will be a strip only car.My original plan for a DD was to get a New Edge GT, Use an MMR or Livernois Stroker Forged Rotating Assemble and new Aluminum Block and some nice ported heads and cams...And on top of it throw a Modular Powerhouse 2.8 Kenne Bell on top of it and boost about 10 psi...Well I just(literally 5 minutes ago) found out that Modular Powerhouse closed! Is this true?If so where can I get 2.8 Kit?I do not want a Centri and I want something bigger than a 2.6...So that leaves the 2.8..where else can I get a 2.8 Kit?

Maybe Lethal Performance? I would try out SVTperformance.com, I see a lot of guys selling their F/I parts there.

2.6 makes over 700rwhp, thats not enough for a DD 4.6?
Call KB and see if they'll put together a 2.8 kit for you.

And where did Tim go? Did he start a new shop or something?

^ Thanks I actually called the number on MPH's website and I guess that they just put Mr Norms Garage's number on there, When I called I talked to Tim and I was wrong he is still selling kits so I'm happy now:)

So I guess Ken bought into the Mr Norm business. Its a big name that goes back to the hot rod days so maybe he felt it was worth the move? He just built that new shop in Georgia too.

Honestly either way you go is gonna be bad ass! The KB is easier because it doesn't require a KMember swap but TT's are sweet and these engines love the boost.

I have considered both of those options myself but always go back to keeping my Eaton Setup since I will not cage my car and make it NHRA legal to run at the track.
