So I have been going back and forth between supercharge or turbo. onperformance or vortech sq. I'm almost 100% I'm just gonna go with the vortech sq. I was wondering how the B-31 cam would be with the supercharger? My car is pretty much stock for right now, but this wont be the case for long. Thanks for your help in advance.

i hear stock cams are good for FI. just leave it in untill after you boost it and want more power.

when you want to go turbo, its more to be considered...do you mind changing headers/front end suspension?

either will max out your stock internals, just a preference/money decision

the on3 turbo kit you should have to change out the k member atleast thats what they said on their site. and yea i plan on running stock bottom end for the summer i love the instant power from a supercharger. but no i dont mind to change everything out either thats why i want to try and do most of it at once

turbo> sc. more hp per lbs boost. if its a 95 cobra (looks like it from your sig)leave your car stock and get the turbo kit or just get your heads and lower intake ported. upgrade fuel and ignition. on a 5.0 it can be at full boost by 3000 rpm and depends on the type of sc it can be instant or higher in the rpm band. you can find used tubular k members pretty cheap.

agree with that per lb turbos are more efficient, and thats coming from a centri guy

but I'm the first to recommend a vortech, have had nothing but awesome results

yea i love vortech ever since my buddy had a t trim on his fox. he never had problems out of it. and alot of people around here are either turbo or supercharged so ive rode in both types of cars. i just cant choose which one to get since i like both.

its really just personal preference. I already had longtubes and liked centris which is why i went that route, would I do it again? Absolutely. But at the same time I wouldnt be object to a turbo

Yea like I said before I really like both set ups. I'm just getting bored being stock so I'll prolly still go vortech cause I know there are quality kits

With the supercharger you will have an easier installation, easier maintenance, easier to work on the car. The turbos are a little bit more complicated and harder to work on, chase boost leaks if they occur, making sure everything is nice and tight, more hardware. Turbos are more of a pain than superchargers but they make more power per boost (usually). If you just want a street car with a little kick, than a supercharger will be the way to go.
