Re: no power to drivers seat!! how do i move it?

I had the same problem with my 94 GT

first thing you should do is check the fuse box, make sure there is a fuse in there and if there isnt put one in, if there is then replace it.

Re: no power to drivers seat!! how do i move it?

My power seat broke and would barely even move. I could get the front bolts out easy but I had to just fight with it to get the back ones out. Just have patience and try and find the smallest wrench you can and just work with it. Idk if maybe you could go under the car and get the bolts loose from there. I ended up ordering a manual seat rack and swapped it out. Who needs a power seat that your going to move once and leave it alone?? Plus it prolly saved me about 20lbs.

you can get in there with a wrench. if the wrench isnt long enough, use the box end of the properly sized wrench, and take another, slightly larger wrench to hook the box end of the second wrench around the open end of the first

Re: no power to drivers seat!! how do i move it?

they are run by worm gears and can collect an amazing amount of dust. When they do they jam up. If you can get them up enough to see the gears see if you can hit them with some wd40 with a straw and clean them off. Mine had locked up but thankfully they were up enough to get wrench under it. After removing the seat I cleaned the gears and the re-greased them and they have worked perfect since.
