Need help with another darn tranny related question.

Alright here we go again, basically my problem is if I'm in 2nd and I slow down a bit then re-accelerate I get a loud scraping, grinding, metal on metal kind of sound. It sometimes happens in 1st but less noticeable and less loud. So whats up? :violent1:

Does it happen in between shifts too? It used to happen to mine and it was the throw out bearing, sounds like that thing is shot

Doesn't happen between shifts. It sounds quite bizarre and I don't even know where to begin with it.
