This alternator cover.....love it.....or hate it...im still unsure.

to be honest im not a fan. I like to just pull apart the alt sand it down and clear coat it. But if you like it more power to ya

me no likey either. paint it, polish it or chrome it but don't try to cover it up. be glad the alt. isn't front and center like it is on the 4.6's

id try painting the alt a flat black color. i mean it IS an alternator... id just try to hide it without drawing too much attention to it. when things are shiny they stick out, when things are dirty they stick out. id just paint it flat black, and let it get lost in the engine bay with all the other crap that you really dont take much notice of.
