So being a new owner of a 97 GT I have been doing a lot of research on how to get the most HP out of my motor without going broke!! So far all I have done is add a K&N FIPK, O/R H-pipe, MSd coil Packs, MSD wires and NGK irridium plugs. From what I have learned, this is what I am thinking of adding...

01-04 Romeo PI heads and having them ported & polished...
PI Intake....
3.73 gears...
75mm TB & Plenum...
A good dyno tune.
This get me in the 350HP range if what I have learned is true for around $1500.

What do you guys think? Will I need more fuel to keep up with the increased air flow? Any other thought or suggestions?

Thanks

doubt that would get you to 350 hp. and i can pretty much guarantee that all that will cost more than $1500. Port and polish alone will be $1500

depends. a good port & polish, valve job, etc will run him about $1500. a simple port & polish could run him as low as $600-800 tho.

add some vt stg 2 cams or simliar, and you should MAYBE be in the 300rwhp range. add a lightweight flywheel/driveshaft combo and you should be able to get past the 300rwhp range.

I am looking at pretty good deals on everything and my brother knows the owner of Livernois Motorsports in MI. Anyway, Really not over 300 yet? But the set-up sounds good?

For the time being, skip the TB and plenum, not worth it. Add in some cam's, and you'll hit 300 rwhp, or close. 350 is basically unattainable for all intents and purposes, so if you want more than 300, just skip straight to the blower.

In that range your stock fuel system will be ok, marginal, but ok.
