I'm really fighting with myself lately. I can't decide if I want to paint my saleens black. I'm kind of getting tired of the chrome look and can't decide if black would look more aggressive. What's your guys' opinions? Here's how she sits now..

I'm having the same debate myself with my wheels. I love my chrome wheels, but i miss the black i had on my cobra and do not know which I would be happier with. I really like the chrome look with your car, but all black always has always been known as a tough look. Good luck man lol

Plastic dip is the way to go. I would leave the rims chrome your car looks so clean the way it is

Black cars with chrome wheels look amazing. I just wish black was easier to keep clean. Keep them chrome.

I have to say that black cars with solid black wheel really don't look as good as those with chrome wheels or black wheels with chrome lip. The chrome REALLY sets off the black quite nicely and my honest opinion is I would leave them chrome. They look great on your car man. If anything I would sell your wheels and pick up a set of wheels that are black with a chrome lip (if money allows of course). Believe me man it looks soooo much better with the chrome than solid black. And I was the one DIEHARD on getting solid blacks for awhile myself lol. Leave em chrome or change em :)

Plasti dip and if you dont like them peel it off. 2 cans coated my 18s well. A note to new platidippers (learned the hard way) apply plenty of coats. Itll peel off easier when you take it off. I did 3 good coats on my wheels and it came off pretty easy and lasted a few weeks before it started bubbling. But for 10-12 bucks you can find out if you like them or not

Warning : TO MUCH AWESOME

To me, All black wheels don't show any defination between the wheel and the tire.
If you're dead set on changing it up for cheap. Do something different with the plastidip. IE; paint the outside of the wheel but leave the spokes chrome. or just the opposite, or paint the center of the spokes black.

Some cars can pull off black wheels, but I vote no as well on this one. The whole black on black is just blah....
