My drivers seat is torn and the motor doesn't work. And my passenger seat slider just broke today. I want to see some aftermarket seats. Just list the brand, price and where you got them. Thanks in advance.

How did the paint hold up? Did it make the fabric stiff?

Asking all the right questions.

Hows the fit interior wise? Close to stock?

they fit perfect... they sat a little lower than stock but mine were beat and i had to make adapter plates to get them to fit to my factory sliders. The color faded after a while, but i didnt prep the seats well. i just vacuumed and sprayed them, your supposed to really clean and spray them.

Nice, the Hunsaker ones were the ones I was looking at. They seem to be the best quality for the buck.

When you get aftermarket seats are all of the stock power options usually bypassed or ignored? How does that work exactly... I'm completely ignorant on the topic.

Nope, I put some Corbeau TRS in mine this summer. Bought the brackets from corbeau for the mustang and they fit in perfect. I lost the power driver's seat but that's all. No rubbing on either side.

Man I desperately need new seats. The only thing literally holding them together is Gorilla Tape (Duck tape's bigger brother) and the seats in this thread are absolutely drool worthy. Thats why I asked about the power options. Also how much were your seats? where did you get them from? Are they comfortable? Would you get them again? Would they be impossible to install with limited mechanical knowledge and a 200 piece tool set? :D Inquiring minds want to know!!!

Seats were a great improvement over stock. They really hold you in place when cornering and such. I got my two corbeaus for 375 brand new from some guy on a local forum so i got a steal on them. I'd absolutely get them over again and they're absolutely comfortable. Here's the two pictures that I have of them. Oh and installing them was literally 8 bolts.

Not really "aftermarket" seats, but here's the 04 mach 1s I put it in mine. Give a VERY comfortable, planted feel. "bigger" people shouldn't use these, my one bigger friend complains about how big the side bolsters are, 03-04 cobras are the same but have suede in the middle instead of all leather.

Hunsaker with factory brackets. So, to answer your question, yes you can keep your power drivers seat or go with manual sliders.
