Something had to have come loose. Have you checked your battery connections :dunno:
I checked the connections on the battery,i took them off at one point to check if the airbag diagnostic module connections had come loose(didn't want to blow the airbags on top of everything else). I put them back and tightened them. I keep thinking its something loose or a wire has rubbed through and is shorting somewhere.

maybe a wire came loose and is shorting what other things does it control?
It also controls the airbag diagnostic module, shift lock actuator, electronic flasher, rearwindow defrost control switch, daytime running lights, transmission control switch, back up lamp switch, convertable top switch, and last but not least transmission range sensor. So correct me if I'm wrong but, I'm thinking I can rule out the transmission control switch and range sensor, shift lock actuator, daytime running lights and convertable top switch, since the car is a 5-speed coupe that doesn't have daytime running lights.
