well during my dyno tune i watched my fuel pressure drop 14lbs from 5-6000rpm so we all know what that means.

i've heard that you can drop the svt focus pump in and not have to mess with anything. can anyone advise me towards a good pump? i dont have any long term power goals. for now anyways, but i can feel it getting worse and worse by the day.

thanks guys

Plug and play no bull shit. My one friends supercharged 5.0 stroker 2v has a aviator pump and it's more then efficient for his setup

Guys, it's a common misconception that the 98s were returnless. However, this is not true. They are return style, although they use a 99+ style tank with a different hat.

You have a couple options you can do.

You can run a focus, aviator, ford gt pump.

You can run your choice of 255, 300, or 340. They make pumps that drop right in.

Another option is you can run a 03 cobra twin pump setup and add a return line to it. Other than that it will basically drop right in.

Edit lol meant 255 not 275.

Why not just throw a 255 in it if your car is like your sig? You can get one shipped for like 70 bucks new.

Are you still on a stock pump? What injectors are you running?

+1 for a 255.

Check these guys out. I've ran 4 of them in my different cars so far and no failures.

I also put the 97 style 255 in a 98 basket. Was a tight fit but it worked. The price difference between the 2 styles has a lot to do with the sock setup and the extra material they give you to seal it up with.

looks awesome, but fuel systems arnt my cup of tea. The 87-97 one he has for sale will work? or did you use the cobra one? either way which one will would you get in my case?

i really have having this bastard return style setup

+1 for the HP 255 pump, has supported 452rwhp on nitrous on mine without a problem. I'll be switching to a 340lph in the coming weeks for my turbo setup though

Snag the one for the 98+ returnless for a complete 100% drop in.

The 97 and below will work, however, you have to do slight mods to get it to fit because it's taller. My advice is the 98+ shorter style as I've used both. It's just a better fitment in that style tank.

I know the 98+ say returnless, but ignore that. That's the one you want. For all purposes the 98+ "returnless" and the earlier pumps are the same. They are just designed to fit in different sumped tanks.

aviator pump, LMAF and 24lb injectors and keep it moving. not a need for overkill and inefficiency.
