By 4x4 he meant the ride height. 94-04 Mustangs sit extremely high at factory ride height, ton of wheel gap etc. You could go with a 255/40/18 on the 18x9, you'd be better off.

Yes.
Any of the wheels on AM will be fine for your car.
265 will be okay. I prefer 255, which is what I have on my car. My car is fairly low, only rubs in hard turns (such as in a parking lot) against plastic wheel wells.

Yes they'll fit. Simple as that. I've seen 275s fit on the front, 285s, and even 295s on stock fenderwork.

Absolutely, I was dropped 1.5" and had my 17x9 up front with a 275/40-17 and I never rubbed. I would definitely say to go with a 255 up front though.

I have 275's up front, it rubs on the sway bar on full lock right turns. Will get narrow tires when these wear out, this set came with the wheels, I'm not a fan.

I'm running a 275/35/18 on an 18x9 in the front at this ride height and it only rubs slightly at full lock. (Just in case you ended up wanting 275s) As lutter94 said, I would advise against it. Little bit too wide of a tire in the front and you get a little bump-steer

No problem man. I got em sold. It's just much easier to find a local buyer than it is to ship

how would the width of a tire give you bumpsteer? following groves in the road i can see, but bumpsteer shouldn't change depending on tire width.
