Trying to put my car back together and bought some longtubes. i just did a stock rebuild on the bottom end and decieded to do a few upgrades, full exhaust. put the longtubes on the motor before i put it in. so i went ahead and dropped in the engine headers and all, put in order to get the headers to fit i had to disconnect the stearing shaft from the rack. now i cant get the shaft to go over the headers to reconnect to the rack. is there a way to remove the shaft so that i can reconnect from the bottom then reconnect at the top? Thanks for your help in advance.
