My dad and I are having a lot of trouble figuring out which rims we would like to get for the 'stang. We are trying to find the ones that look best on a wingless car. We were thinking bullets, but i want something that looks unique and muscle car-ish, and NOT ricer... Any suggestions, we wanted to go with 18's but thats subject to change.

Thanks,
Dylan

Sure thing, its far from being finished but it'll be painted a pearl black if that helps.

I did not know you could get a pearl black. Sounds like a cool color though! Any wheel will look great in that color! I happen to like the chrome '03s like I have. That's just my thought though! I would go with chrome I think though!

Well, i was looking at the paint earlier and its not pearl haha, its just black with a metallic flake in it (purple or blue or red). But it just needs the right rims to set it off.

FR500s are always a safe bet on a black car... It really depends on what you like. There are a TON of rims that look good on 94-98 car. Rousch, Saleeen, any Cobra rim, the 500s, etc... Go with what you like, just don't run underbody lights or altezzas and you're good lol.

How much money are you looking to spend? Polshed BBS Rk plasmas look amazing but are pretty pricey. For a cheaper wheel you can't beat saleens in any finish.

Well, we're not looking to spend TOO much money but will pay the price for good rims. ^^ That car is awesome, what size/type of rims are those and where did you get them?

I love the look of the chrome. Would it be a pita to get 18x10 backs and 18x9 fronts, like rotating and tire life and stuff like that. I kinda have to ask for the pops to let me spend my money on this...

I am a poor dude, so I went the same size on all corners! That way I can rotate them! You can't go wrong with chrome, I say!! I bought my rims from American Muscle, $594.04! I love that site! Came fast and was perfect!!! Use the link on here so the site will get $. When/if you go to buy, they usually have a 3% off code you can put in! Ask around on here for it!

if you go different tire size you wont be able to rotate the tires, but if you want to get he same size all around (to do tire rotation) and get some spacers outback to get the wheels flush with the fenders.

I think to properly pull off the wingless look you need deep dish rear wheels, my favorite in deep dish are the bullitts, pretty much any finish will look great on your car.

If you get staggered sizes.. you would only really wear out the rears faster than the fronts.. so no need for tire rotations..
