NEED SUGGESTIONS

well guys ive come to a point where i keep going to shows and i keep losing haha i love my car obviously but i need some suggestions. im debating if i wanna sell my wheels and get something nicer. im not sure whatelse i should do besides more chrome. the cars clean. A) should i keep modifying mine or B) should i sell mine and buy a 99-04? or C) buy a 05 and newer? i FINALLY got my heads back from mhs and i just bought a trans from sxynerd. so some stuff will stay off of my car till winter anyway but i dont wanna put this stuff on if i get rid of it. and i do have a set of chrome bbk valve covers im just waiting till i do the heads. what do you guys think?

paint the sides of the hood red... naked carbon fiber is kinda ghey... but i think the center section would look ok left naked.

as for wheels... its either a hit, or a miss. the fr500s look ok on there, but it deffinately needs something a little speacial... i wonder what it would look like with 10th anny's.

Any aftermarket 18's are gonna pretty expensive,

seems like you could some colored wires,looms, maybe polished the alternator,paint the valve covers.

Paint the mirrors.
As Javi said, do something with the alt. chrome or black.
Handz had a thread where he painted his wheel wells black.
Give the fuel tank cover a fresh black coat and paint or polish the straps.
Have you done anything to the interior?

If you want to win then you've got to more that just bolt on stuff.
Don't get me wrong, you car is hot.
I'm just saying.

Nothing wrong with being anal. Especially if it brings results, 95opal! I don't know anything about this stuff, just with being anal. I say you need to keep yours!! Stop expecting to win, maybe just enter for more people to see your beautiful car? Just you stay happy with it. Who gives a rat's ass what losers think, of anything.

think the car looks great. as far as cleaning up the engine bay i would do a cop conversion to clear out some of the clutter and try to hide some of the wires. paint the alt. case or polish it. small details go along way. and keep the wheels they look great cant wait till i can afford a set going black.

Definitley keep your SN95 Mustang and do a few mods to keep you happy with it.

thanks guys i was thinking about getting the wheel lips polished to almost chrome look and get maybe a deeper grey?? im gonna order a chrome alternator i think and whats involved in converting to cop?

It's a nice looking car. Don't modify it how everyone else likes, modify it how YOU like. The car should please you, who gives a damn if it pleases a bunch of other guys who want their cars to win. I go to car shows but I don't even register if I don't have to. I go to converse, admire, and maybe get some ideas, but certainly not to win anything.

im definitely gonna do the cop conversion when i do my head swap and i did clean up the alternator after the pics you see above...what do you guys think of chrome FRs? same size and all just chrome. i wanna really pop ya know and im looking for somethin for the radiator hoses because they look just plain. any ideas guys?

I think that chrome FR500 wheels would look really nice on your car as long as
they are real FRPP FR500 wheels and not cheap knockoffs.
For the radiator hoses do some stainless steel braided hoses I think they will look nice.

The diifference is the quality workmanship of the steel used to make the wheel.
Also there is difference in the quality of the chrome used on the wheel.
Knockoff or replica chrome wheels use a lower quality chrome and after time
the chrome can actually crack,pit,or the chrome finish can dull over time.
Look at the Ford Racing website you will see the FRPP 18X9 chrome FR500 wheels.
If you look around I'm sure you can fined a reputable vendor to purchase them from.
I'd get the Ford Racing version of the FR500 wheel they are much better quality
and better looking in my opinion.
