It will fit but it wont work with your v6. The motor mounts will be off. You'd only be able to bolt in a 5.0 with it.

i think this guy was doing a 5.0 swap out of a 91 fox with his car. could be someone else, so don't hold me to that.

Well if thats the case then yes, that is the K Member he needs to go with. Then my next question would be what brand it is.

No I have 2000 3.8L V6
And my dad was building a track car out of a 95 GT but he has decided to go a diffrent direction so its either free or highly discounted for me of what I want on it
Ill just see if I can mock something up togeather to make the mounts by summer I plan on doing a 5.0 swap anyways

Are you guys SURE it won't fit?

Reason I ask is because CMC guys that run 5.0 pushrod motors in new-edges use the new edge V6 k-member. Not sure if they modify it, but I don't think they do. Class rules prohibit that kind of stuff.

I was asking the same thing in my head my father was building a CMC car then had changed his mind now hes building up to run AIX this season so that's how these parts landed in my lap lol
and even if the mounts are off im sure their is away to make my own or at least try too....

I thought a 3.8 was basically a 5.0 with some cylinders missing. Hence the same bell housing, and other such tidbits.

You should be able to use it. The 94/95 Mustang v6s (same K member as the 94/95 gt) drop in the newer v6 engines all the time. There might be some minor things you need to do, but for the most part it should work no problem.
