One step closer,

How do you guys feel about my new 10 dollar wheels? cleaned, sanded and painted in about 2 hours. wife hates em but I think looks a whole lot better than what I had.

I think they look alright, they'll look a lot better once you put the black on the sides. Def better than they were.

Looks much better.

That Light Prairie Tan color is hard to match when it comes to wheel choices...

I think you did a splendid job with what you had.

Once you replace those fenders and maybe update the grill, it will look even sweeter.

the all black makes the wheels look tiny, i would try sanding off the lip to give it more "definition"..

dont know what they looked like before, but I'm not a fan of black wheels.

my opinion - a painted ring around the lip would make it look better. tan or white or red?

I like it. I have been thinking of doing the same thing to my Silverado's wheels... the paint has chipped off on the outer ring from tire weights and it looks like crap, did you have the wheels off the truck to do this or did you do it right where she sat.

like a few people have said already, the black kinda clashes with the chrome. if you toned back some of the chrome on the front of the car, the wheels would look like they'd fit the car better.

yeah it's the 7.3 dal. as for toning down the chrome, it is a work in progress. I have thought about painting the grill but not to sure yet. I am in the process of herculing the lower rocker panels and putting fender flares on as we speak. hope to get it done friday afternoon if all goes well. Maybe someone could photoshope me a blacked out bumer and grill? I am seriously considering doing it............. OH, and I just taped the rim off and shot em right in the driveway. thanks everyone!!
