new cam gears?

i'm about to order a new set of comp cams within the next few weeks here for my 97 gt.
i have stock npi cams on right now.
just wondering if i need to go out and buy a set of cam gears along with them.. do the 97's use the press on gears from factory or are they bolt on?

You'll need new bolt's, the factory ones are throw aways.

just bolts? so the gears are good then?

Yeah the gear's are fine. I think the Ford dealer want's like 10 bucks a piece for those bolt's though, so you might want to order some ARP's in the same size to be able to reuse in the future.

do you know the size of the bolt off hand? i can probably just grab some at work if they arent anything special.
grade 8 cat bolts and some blue lock-tite oughta do it.. haha
