New car no start

I just picked up a new 2v guy was rebuilding it, fuel pump turns on lights and everything but won't make a sign of turning over.. Starter is hooked up, and battery is charged. Any ideas anyone? Appreciate the help!
-I get a few little clicks after trying to start it when the key returns back

Long story lol I will be able to soon.. I thought I bought 4 tires and turns out 3.. (That's why I was getting a good deal)

Check your battery connections, it may not be making a good enough connection to supply the necessary cranking power
