Hey folks, got a new Magnaflow Catback system on Amazon.com of all places. Got it about a hundred bucks cheaper than pretty much everywhere else I looked online (not counting used).

I had em installed today... Would have done it myself, but its cold here. Lots of snow, and I just wasn't in the mood to lay on my back and wrestle with it myself. So I had a shop do it for me for a decent price. Took them about 2 hours to get em on, but I'm concerned about something... Seems to me that the tailpipes are sticking out a little further than I was expecting. The pictures below aren't the best quality... I was rushing around after work before sunset to take them, and I had a hard time getting a good angle cause of all the snow banks. What do you folks think? Do they look okay? The first picture is right before I got the car washed (and yes, I know I'm missing a reflector), and the wheels on it are my winter wheels... I usually have stock bullitt rims on it. [All of these are taken with a crappy iPhone camera]

alright. cool. thanks guys.

Just out of curiosity... what if they don't slide back any further? Will I have to have them cut someplace? Anyone ever have any issues with anything like that?

Alright. anyways, thanks. I'll have to take some better pics tomorrow. I also recently installed a much needed FR500 Steering Wheel, some Bullitt style front brakes, and as noted above, stock Bullitt rims. I really want those Bullitt seats in the classifieds as my current gray leather seats are literally being held together by Gorilla tape (well, driver's side anyways), but don't know if I can afford to spend 800 bucks on em.

Thank you sir.

Yeah I know. Ticked me off a bit because I was getting em done during a lunch break. Young kid was doing it. Probably from the local auto school we have here (University of NorthWestern Ohio). Course, to his benefit, nothing is easy on my car. Nothing.

half of installing a catback is just messing with it until it fits and looks right, little adjusting should go a long way for ya.

Bring it back to the guy who installed it and tell him to finish the job right.

Nah, I'll do it myself. Good learning experience. :)

Where you from bro? I'm in Bluffton.

No way. Awesome. I live in Lima. I figured there had to be someone from around here on this forum... enough Mustang enthusiasts in this neck of the woods even if they're mostly Fox body style enthusiasts. :D

I'll put something together this weekend. Just a warning though, its pretty tame with stock midpipe unless I romp on it. I'm okay with that because I was wanting something that wouldn't be ludicrously loud like the all the other kids racing around along the back roads keeping me up all night :p But now that I have them on I'm thinking I need an H-pipe to compliment them here soon.
