Sooo I just put in my Sve mongoose clutch... its a pretty nice clutch for the price. My only complaint is that my pedal, i dont know how to really explain it... the clutch doesnt even start to engage until im damn near out of the clutch...Making it hard to take off really smooth sometimes. Is there anyway, I can make it start engaging earlier? Because the way Its set up now, its pretty good for launching. It just takes off!

Do you still have the stock quadrant in the car? If so, maybe it need adjustment. Or, just get a steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster and be done with it.

yea stock one can be adjusted, pull up on it (up towards you) and it should click or be tighter, i forget its been a long time since I had stock stuff. I have the same clutch unfortunately I didnt get the flywheel resurfaced so it chatters and burns all the time...so now i get to do it again.

i didnt resurface either but mine doesnt chatter, and im not sure what you mean by burn. But my flywheel was actually pretty clean. So i just scuffed it up with 320 grit.

Yea so was mine, it had no hotspots, so I scuffed it with sandpaper too. Since it chatters on takeoff and really really bad in reverse, I adjusted my clutch so all I have to do is raise my toe and it starts moving, unfortunately that setting keeps the TB from disengaging all the time so while driving it hard I can smell clutch material burning...either that or I ordered the wrong clutch size. Anyway, I would recomend going with a firewall adjuster and a single/double hook quadrant. You can get them from UPR for like 80 bux on a package deal but I would stay away from the adjustable clutch cable and keep your stocker.
