Promise not to throw bricks. I just started a new job with a slightly higher salary, but about a 60 mile round trip each day. Decided to trade in my gas hog V6 Escape for a fuel sipper, a 2010 Honda Insight. It certainly isn't going to break any 0 - 60 records but it actually handles pretty well, MUCH better than the Pi-ous I test drove. So far I'm getting around 45 mpg, not bad. Saving money on gas means more money for Mustang project!

I'd turn in my mancard for a new hybrid. These gas bills are ridiculous.

Yeah, I had to fill up 5 times my first month on the job, waaaaaaaaaaay too much $$$. I'm hoping to cut that in half. New hybrids were outrageously expensive but used Civics, Fusions and Insights are not too bad.

My daily gets 10mpg or 12mpg if I travel straight back roads... That's pretty cool mileage wise but ehhh.... Honda.... lol. I like those new diesel BMWs that get 45mpg highway haha... congrats on the new salary tho!
