Whats up guys, came across this forum while cruising the internet. I can't get enough of the sn's so I figured I would join. I am in the finishing stages of some fun stuff with the car, but it has a long ways to go! Here are the phases the car has gone through...

The day I bought her (young and dumb)

turbo'd

V8swapped

How she sits now

Thanks!! And thanks for the compliment!

It was a lot of fun, but honestly to really make any more power I was going to have to dump a lot of money into it and still be limited to like 500. Plus, I found a full gt car for a grand and sold the wheels and body for as much as I bought the car for. I knew I wanted to build a motor I could make some power one so I started with a basic swap and make sure all the electrical wiring was correct, once that was good I started building the motor that is in it now.

One day I would love to build another v6 but start with a supercoupe motor.

The v6 that I turbo'd I ended up camming and blew it up so I put another v6 in there but I couldn't get the tune right so I said eff it. I was worn out on it and needed something different.

Thanks! I like it too, but the wallet is still recovering haha. Soon there will be a 76 mil hiding under the coolant tank :)

What turbo system were you running? What power was it making off of 8?

Sorry, only really familiar with the common blown 6 setups.

Make a build thread!

It was pretty much a thrown together kit. I was still rookie of the month and had someone weld up some stock headers so I could reverse them. Then I bought a t04b and pretty much made it from there.

On the dyno it made 264 and similar tq in Denver.

I cammed it and put ported single port heads on, and forgot to hook up the wastegate... 30 pounds of boost felt spectacular. but didnt last very long haha.

I put a split port in there, and a 67 mil but never made it back to the dyno. I think with the exhaust leaks fixed and it spooling like it should I coulda made way more power.
