Most of you have Billet fuel doors in silver and black, some even have the chrome stick on covers that go over the current fuel door :nono:

I came across a brand new Fuel Cell cap for free and got the idea to install it on my Beater as a fuel door.
Im still undecided if i like it or not but like i said im just trying something different, that atleast i have never seen done...

Let me know your honest opinions...

I think theres a good reason it was free...lol...eh it looks a little out of place to me but it's what you like man! who cares what we think if it's what you like. I just changed my fuel door and a few other things on my ride the last two weeks. I'll post some pics soon.

Doesn't look right to me, but then I usually don't like aftermarket fuel caps/whatever anyways.

I think its the angle i took the pic. i had it as centered as the body would let me i had no room for movement it was either there or not at all, I like the idea but i kept all the stock pieces because im on the fence about it. Its Like hey look at me im a fuel door lol and im not big on to many flashy exterior mods but for a free item i figured i would give it a try..

The outer ring is bolted down with SS Tech screws and the center part latch flips up releasing the suction and you pull the center part straight out, the only downer is i cant run the stock gas cap and after rideing in the car i noticed the smell of gas. I have a few tell me it looks bad ass lol but im not feeling it...

Yea because the guy that bought the Fell Cell bought the 45 Deg elbow topper to run hos hose to so he can ill the cell in the trunk from the stock fuel door...

I don't really care for it, not because its a fuel cell door but because i never really liked the after market billet doors i just figured i would try it...

Aftermarket fuel doors all look stupid unless they're painted to match the car.

Fixed.

They never really flow, but they're not real intended to just blend in and be clean and whatnot.

I don't knock cars with them because they're not THAT big of a deal to me, but I prefer stockers.
