I currently run 42# injectors and a Walbro 255lph intank pump. This supported my old build of 400rwhp. I am now building my block and running upwards of 600rwhp. I am going to sell my 42# injectors and get some 60# injectors. Could I just add 2 Focus pumps to my walbro intank and be good to go?

here is my fuel setup..

I got a really good deal on the Aeromotive Stealth Elim sump kit and had it welded on and used ss lines back up to my rails along with 60# injectors but what i'd recommend for a budget it this...

1. 60# injectors
2. Fuel rails if you don't have already..
3. if you can go Dual 255lph get them BUT you can hit 600 on the following below

1 255lph pump, the AFM Inline pump kit, 60# inj, and a KB 40amp BAP.
I'd recommend upgrading your lines going to your rails and if you haven't already upgrade your rails obviously you'll get more outta the deal

(AFM Inline Pump Kit - For stock fuel lines. This pump kit with a 255 lph in tank pump has been tested to 62 gallons per hour at 60 psi with stock fuel lines. 62 gallons per hour will handle up to 50lb injectors. This is the best we have tested with stock fuel lines. p/n PKAF-6294 )

The pump held up well to my SS lines, bap and 60# at upper 600 range then i wanted more and got the sump

1. I'm definately getting the Siemen 60# injectors
2) What's a good company to look at for the fuel rails?
3) If I understand correctly, I can do this: Keep in my intank walbro 255lph pump, add the AFM inline pump kit with a KB 40amp boost a pump and also upgrade my lines. am i correct?

http://andersonfordmotorsport.com/ > 96-98 Mustang > Fuel Delivery > Fuel Pumps

it's the 2nd one of the pumps p/n PKAF-6294 is the 96-98 one

also i went with the MPH Custom grind s/c cams and i can not tell you how much i love them. I don't know what my power was before them because it all went in together but it was great. Also if you 'were' running PI heads you could use the AFM Quick Cam change tool that i used.. I stand behind this tool 100000% when it comes to changing cams if you have the newer PI heads this tool is amazing you don't have to take the timing cover off

this is about identical to my setup except I only rewired my pumps with relays for 14v and it took me to 620rw. Then I backed it off to be within 80% range of my injectors and ended up with 590.

Now I have a sump waiting and plan on running dual 255 342's (or 392 IDR which one is the inlines) with pushloc hoses. It seems to be the absolute cheapest way to do it.

I think the biggest restriction comes from the line diameter.

yeah, I have decided I'm selling my crower stage 2 non pi blower cams and am most likely getting Tim's custom grind cams. I think I will need to sell my valve springs/retainers and get new ones too

That looks like a pretty awesome. My only question is that it says that the external kit will only work with stock lines, and you suggested that I upgrade my lines...will this be a problem?

sump setups are just so darn expensive! what are your goals?

I'm pretty set on going with what I have listed...60#injectors, AFM external kit, 40amp bap, fuel rails, and ss lines

actually sump setups are not expensive at all really.. figure a weld in sump for your mustang, pump, 2 micro filters, ss lines, fuel reg, and fittings

A1000 - $200 (see on ebay for this free shipping)
Aeromotive A1000 Injected Bypass Regulator, P/N 13101 - 120 (again brand new on ebay)
Aeromotive micro fuel filters - $250 for both
SS Lines - $100 maybe i don't remember
Weld in 94-98 mustang sump $50 (Ebay)

so far that's about 750-800 and that is not even shopping around that is basically buying everything brand new.

so that is a bit but i'm sure you could build a kit for 500-600 easy minus rails.. fuel is a big deal but you build it for where you want to be not where you are now.. then you just waste money.

eh, not as bad as I had thought. As long as I'm careful and keep atleast a half a tank of gas in my car, should I ever really have to worry about a sump?
