New gears/tuner question

Just off the phone to Hauser Racing (I`m in the UK). Basically I`ve given my card details and have ordered FRPP 4.10s. They`ll be fitting the gears and bearing kit BUT I have to alter the settings for the new gears and speedo with my tuner. I have a Diablosport Predator. There is settings for this kinda thing and what I`m needing to know is has anyone done exactly this and is it a big deal?
Last thing I need is a bust auto box so I need to get this right.
Any pointers appreciated guys. :notworthy: Its a 2003 GT.

For a 2003 gt, you fan use your Diablosport to recalibrate your speedometer

Us 94-98 can't use the Tuner method to calibrated though

I knew that. Its was more the autobox shift settings ie; when I select the change in gear ratio does it automatically change the shift points? I was just wondering if it was a complicated affair.

Seems like this is the answer (from Diablosport) :tongue3:

"You will need to reselect the 93 tune and it will give you an option of "install tune" or "modify tune". Select "modify tune" and choose "axle ratio". Set it to 4:10 gear ratio and install the tune.

This will correct everything on the vehicle in relation to the gears installed."
