Hello all.

I'm in the market for a fun driver. I've pretty much narrowed my choices to a Mustang, likely a Fox body conv., or an SN95 conv. Personally I have a strong preference for an SN95.

I have a few questions about what I'm looking at (http://sn95forums.com/showthread.php?59345-Available-rear-axle-ratios-for-1994&p=1166583#post1166583), and had read a few threads here before when researching these cars. So I thought it was time to join up and start asking questions. Looks like a great place, and I look forward to everyone's advice.

well if a fun driver is what you want... then you don't want a vert, haha. Nah, nothing wrong with a vert just trying to ruffle some tail feathers

Drove to the Dairy Queen with the top down tonight - got jealous looks even with the 17 year old dull paint job. LOVE my ragtop!

I've looked at a quite a few Fox bodies...looked at a nicely worn all original '86 GT 'vert. yesterday. If all else was equal, I'd choose the SN95 for it's looks (to me , it LOOKS like a Mustang, where the Fox does not exactly), the chassis improvements, the 4 wheel discs, etc., as you mentioned. I love the dual cockpit design Vs. the 87-93 Fox dash....just so many little things that I think are BETTER with the SN95.

The one thing that is NOT better with the SN95 is the steeply sloping convertible roof. Same with the coupe. I cannot fit my son back there, or wife. So if I go SN95, it's got to be fair weather only, or someone is riding home with their head tipped over on their shoulder! We all fit sitting upright in the front and back, top up or down, in a Fox convertible.

My kids are older, and won't be riding around in the back with Mom & Dad too much longer, but while they still can/will, I'd like to have a car we can ALL enjoy for hitting a local cruise night, heading to the drag strip for an afternoon, a road trip, the Woodward Dream Cruise, etc.
