Hi. My name is Dennis and I have a 95 Mustang gt but I've cracked the block because it was running lean and pretty much....I'm looking for a used engine to buy..302 5.0 engine or any thing bigger that bolts right up. Thank u

Ya I've checked around and the best I can find is a 351 winser and I don't know how simple the swap is but I rather buy a use 302 engine

Welcome aboard.

Being in California I think you might be a little too far away to have a reasonably priced motor sent your way.

Have you checked with any local machine shops? It is not rare for them to have blocks sitting around that they are willing to sell. That or they can usually source one fairly easily that they can machine and freshen up for you.

The pop up on facebook quite often actually. Also, a lot of engine builders can get a block for about 250.

I'm sure evil's motor is a great option. Another stock option is craigslist or ebay for about $500/maybe less. Just buy from a reputable dealer and make sure it's a roller engine for daily use. Crown Vics, Fairmonts, F150, Mustangs, Broncos... use them.

Unfortunately he's quite a trip from me. I spoke out against jasper engines cause I personally know how horribly they're built.
