But enough about me, lets look at the car (the mustangs are mine, the bimmer is my friend's)
My Bullitt

my Cobra II

The bullitt is bone stoke, the cobra II has had the V6 swapped for a '92 5.0L backed by a C4, but its carbed. few light mods on that

Bullitt is by far the faster of the two, but i love the II more O0

im glad you got the green bullit, if its not green its not a bullit.

Clean cars, maybe a 01 cobra front bumper, and a mach 1 grill delete. get some DD Anthracite billits 18's and a mild drop and i would leave it alone.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! As for "beating the M" let me assure you, in a straight line (both on rolls and from a dig)... it has :naughty: the M rapes in handling though, great little car

1STOF3-- its a 1976 Cobra II, originally a 2.8L V6/4spd and now a '92 302 converted to carb with a C4.
I'm planning on building a "Bullitt II" out of it in the near future. DHG paint, bullitt wheels, a few little doodads here and there. It was my first car, and i love it to death. speaking of death... just as peter (cntchds.. at least i think thats his screename on this forum) how terrifying it can be in that car lol. its pretty rough around the edges right now, but im hopeful that it will be finished, or at least damn near it by the end of the spring

the bullitt is for "reliable" transportation. picked up for a song and a dance with less than 8K miles on it back in march. its just under 10K now. I don't plan on modding that one too much, im really looking to just get the Mach 1 nose (grille/spoiler) and a shifter. MAAAAYBE deep dish bullitts later on.

www.mustangII.net has a forum in it. kinda slow compared to most forums, but hey, remember how small the II community is comparatively.

I also get alot of info from the Mustang II subforum at Stangnet.com

I'm pretty sure allfordmustangs.com has one too, but I'm not a member there.

And as for hating BMWs lol, there is a tremendous amount of rivalry between me and the rest of my family. My mom and dad drive newer BMWs, my uncles drive BMWs and Mercedeses. Its hard to be an American Car lover in this family anymore lol
