Thanks for all the kind replies fellas...and to answer a few questions, I live in Akron, which is about 45 minutes south of Cleveland. Ive only ran the car a handful of times and Im brand new at drag racing, but I plan to get into it a little more seriously. The best that Ive been able to get the car to go so far is [email protected] with a 1.59 60ft. This was last year with smaller cams, less sompression, and 4.10 gears. With that setup it made 330rwhp. After adding the bigger cams and higher compression, the car made 325rwhp, but that was at a different dyno shop with a different dyno, and their numbers are known for reading loooow. For example, my buddy with a 2002 GT 5 speed, full boltons, my old stage 2 cams, and a tune put down 236rwhp at that shop, and it put down 292rwhp at the same place that mine dynoed 330 the year before, which is more in the ballpark. So its hard to say exactly where the power is. Right now Im struggling at the track with hooking up. Even with the slicks down to 10psi, Im spinning pretty hard off the line launching at 5500 off the 2 Step, and its barking the tires on every shift. Im only 60 footing in the low 1.60s and Ive been low 12.60s at 111-112. Im loosing a few mph cause of the gear change, but with a couple rear suspension tweaks and developing the driver mod, Im pretty confident this car has 11s in it. Im keeping the car full weight as well. 03-04 Cobra front and rear seats, full MACH stereo, A/C, cruise control, etc...I drive the car on the street and down to mustang week and dont want to drive around in a rattle trap when im not at the track..lol
