if you end up getting HID's for the fog lights, can you let me know how you installed them.
someone in my area sells HID kits for $25 and i was going to get the fog light kit, but i cant seem to find an installation video / instructions on how to install them anywhere..

That's what I'm having a problem finding. I don't know what light bulbs mine uses they have 3 screws holding each bulb in, if I remember correctly. I don't know how to find that out. lol

you said you changed your fog lights to 5", but did you also change the bulb?
if not, i used this to find the correct bulbs:

Are you not sure of where to hide the ballasts? Otherwise I'm not sure why you need an istallation video.

The bulbs were already in the fogs when I got them they don't have the same bulbs as stock. I went to the manufacturers website, the ones who made the fogs, mine use H3 bulbs.

basically. and i just wanna make sure the wiring is long enough to connect from the ballasts to the actually fog lights.
im sure it is, but before i install them, i'd rather have an idea of where i should route the wires and set up the ballasts.

You can buy extensions for the wires from the ballasts to the bulbs so you can relocate them to the engine compartment or where ever. you'd just have to find a company that has the extensions for their own ballasts/ wiring

They usually come with a cable from the ballast to the bulb that is at least 8 inches long, its a perfect length to mount to the front crash beam that is right behind the bumper. I mount my ballasts there with double sided tape to reduce vibration problems, and then I use zip ties secure it around the beam. Sorry I can not get pictures because my car has just been put away for the winter.
