hey guys, well i put the blue LED's in my a-pillar gauges! they are super bright but it looks so awesome.

ill have pics up tonight when it gets dark so i can show you guys. also, my oil pressure gauge doesn't like to work half the time. anyone might kno why? like when you turn the key on, it should shoot up to 0, sometimes it doesnt though.. and it also flickers like while i drive sometimes. itll go to like 20 and 50 psi and all sorts and go back down to off (below 0)...

bad connection? idk what it is..

yeah brian. it just flickers from like off (below the 0) to like 5 psi right now..

it only likes to work when i do an oil change... and after like a few weeks, the PSI slowly goes lower and lower.... until the gauge just doesn't move. it lights up and everything but it just flickers now.. (picture like a multimeter and you have the positive on a power source and touch the negative to a ground on and off.. thats how it flickers.)

Mabe the gauge is working fine. Maybe your car has no oil pressure due to the fact that you neglect ever actually fixing it or doing any maintenance :dunno:

What gauge covers or whatever you call them are those that cover the speedo and rpm and that? They look good. Trace the oil pressure wires all the way and make sure they are connected right. Maybe the gauge sender is going out too.

i dont neglect my car.... i do what i can. i make sure the oil is topped off every week i just dont have the 3500-4500 dollars to rebuild the motor. and i do oil changes regularly as well as if i have other small problems, i fix them, permitting i have the money. so their goes your maintenance statement out the window.

the oil sender is brand new and the wire is connected. i think the way we have it connected though is wrong. well not necessarily wrong it just isn't like it should. (we cut the stock connector that went to the oil pressure sensor off and saudered the AutoMeter gauge to it..) i guess ill crawl up under there and see if its on good or not.
