Hey guys my name is Eric I'm from staten island. I just bought a 96 mustang gt auto convertible! Im new to mustangs so id like some suggestions for mods. Idk which company is the best or what the best mods are but heres the mods list i came up with: http://distilleryimage4.s3.amazonaws.com/bfa12d08d97e11e2b67922000aaa047d_7.jpg i wanna know if the performance mods and suspension i picked are good or are there better ones? Im not looking for complete balls out performance. The mustang is just gonna be my car show car. I just want a great sounding exhaust. I cant seem to find catted H pipe for shorty headers they only have for long tube. So idk what to do for h pipe and i dont wanna do off road since its emissions illegal. Here are pictures of my mustang. The previous owner put cobra badges and ricer tails on it those are being removed immediately lol.

Yes needs low. I posted a link to my mod plans are those springs good or would you recommend another brand? I don't wanna slam it we got bad roads. My dads 96 camaro is really low and he scrapes EVERYWHERE i dont want that hassle.

anyways, check out bassani. they only work with shorty headers for our car.

our sponsors may offer something as well. Stage 3 has a huge selection of performance stuff, and Late model resto can help you bring that pony back to life.

TMI is an interior company and they can really spice up the inside, so when youre at a show you'll have to leave drip-pans for everyone's drool. lol.

Thanks for the tips man! Il look into these things. I was so mad when i found out it wasnt a cobra. But i paid 5k for it kbb is 7k so it was still a deal for a 96 with 96k.

Ugh i hate annoying lol are there how tos on how to install? Or worst case just have my mechanic friend do it for little to nothing.

Found out the car has flo pro exhaust stock h pipe is that exhaust any good? I never even heard of flo pro lol

I think flo pro is a knock off flowmaster tbh lol. Since you gotta 4.6 i'd change out the stock H for a catted X pipe, X pipe's sound so nasty on 4.6s.

I can only find catted x pipe that pnly work with long tube headers which supposedly i cant get since im auto but i haven't done much researching yet. But i did read that h pipes are better for old school sound i want that. Im not too concerned with making it super fast i already got my focus st for that lol. It would be a drivers race if we raced it would be a good race.

Gotcha lol. There's a million things out there to buy for our cars so once you buy one thing, you'll never be able to stop haha. You could always just get a set of high flow cats and put those on your stock h pipe in place of the stock cats. I've seen your focus, your by 72, you used to have a blue cobalt SS right? I always remember seeing that blue cobalt SS lol, went to 72 so thats how I saw it

Yup! Lol and true once i started with balt i couldnt stop. St doesn't really need any mods im just doing mostly appearance shit. Stang will be for car shows so i dont need lots of go fast parts but just the basic bolt ons and a tune would be good enough and lowering and appearance stuff. Not gonna rice it out tho lol
