Long time owner. Just picked up a new project and need a lil help with it. Came across a 95 gt convertible for a good price and decided it had the will to live ha. Car has been in a storage building for over 8 months and was sitting God only knows for how long before that. Went to pick car up and put fresh fuel in it abd it did crank, but ran like crap. Got it loaded on the trailer and back to my shop and it became apparent why it was running so poorly. No distributor hold down at all. Timing was somewhere around 6 degrees btdc. Number 6 and 7 plug wires were swapped up and all the plugs looked 20 yrs old. Then got to looking around under hood and found the main vacuum line going to the tree missing as well. Keep in mind this thing fired up and drove onto the trailer.
So now I'm trying to get everything else figured out. Runs 100 times better than it did but having issues with the fuel pressure. For first 45 seconds or so on cold start it runs at 38psi with fpr line off. Idles fine and revs great. Then at about the 1 min mark the pressure starts violently fluctuating between 32 and about 24psi and when i rev it it drops to about 8 and falls flat on its face. Any help would be appreciated. I ordered a walbro 255 for it since i have a few goodies for it already but wanted to get this problem straight before changing heads, cam, intake, AND exhaust
