Hi guys well I'm a new member to these forums. And I own a Black 98 3.8L Mustang. (Automatic)
Just bought it off my dad. Its in ok shape and I really love it. Lol My first car.
I really want to fix it up modify it and other stuff. It is completely stock.
Downside is that it has a Big Dent on the Left Quarter Panel. A small one on the Right fender.
Spoiler is broken the last two screws on the back. My dad tried super glueing it when it was his. :(
Just stuff that kinda bugs me. Any advice or support would be really appreciated. As well as ideas.
I'll post pics in the second post. Just gonna go out and take some first Gimme a couple of minutes.

Forgot to say i changed th Spark plugs to NGK G-Power plugs. or did i say that already?
The Plugs were really dinged up. They wer black and one of them broke while takin it out. Had to
replace th hose also since the metal inside it had broke and stayed stuck to the broken plug. Went to see my
uncle and hes gonna get me top of the line clay soap and wax that the dealers use and are not for sale to the public,
so I'm super excited for that.

you should pop the trunk, lay down in the floor, and try gently pushing that dent in the 1/4 out with your feet...

may or may not work... lol. there will probly be some creases that wont come out, but will look alott better then that.

just an idea.

Isnt there an inner and outter shell to the quarter panel? He would have to push through two layers of metal to get that dent out. Anyway, great first car, looks just like my car when I was 16, minus the dents though lol. I was able to clean mine up real nice and sell it for 2 grand more than I paid for it, I was then able to buy a gt.

Welcome, I also have a dent in my quarter panel. But I have pushed it out and plan on doing the body work when It cools down.

Good luck.

As for being on a limited budget... I'd fix the body issues, a Maco paint job, and a set of wheels and tires ! The reason is the limited V-6 issues, it will help you prepare for a V-8 while learning about your ride. Also a legal 30% window tint... D

Managed to pull the interior of the trunk and looks like I can get in there and kick the dent out. Its only one wall and its the quarter panel itself. For the front fender I think I can unbolt it and push it out also. OH and check out the Whisper rear bumper. Its what I'm thinking about for the rear

Thanks for all the support. When my dad had the car, my uncle had offered to fix the dents and paint the car and my dad never took the offer.
Now i told my dad to call him and tell him i want the car painted and the dents fixed. My uncle said i can drop off the car tomorrow and he can have it by Sunday!
WTF!! HAHA so im really excited just wondering how much he is gonna charge me. Hes sen the pictures now just to wait for the answer.
By the way does anyone have stock 98 mustang rims. The 5 spokes?Im willing to buy em off of you. I want to keep the car mostly stock for now.
