Trying to get ideas on intake manifold swap not sure on either the typhoon or Edelbrock Victor jr. Efi manifold . Wanting pros and cons

It depends on what you have done. If you’re boosted then the Edelbrock will give you gains and a bigger power band. If you only have bolt ons its not worth it.

Welcome. and yes i've also read that unless you're adding boost or juice, the stock intake is about the best for a street car. All those you mentioned are good intakes, they just seem to sacrifice low end for a top end. If i were boosted i'd go Edelbrock or the Trick Flow.

If youre 5spd, do the edelbrock and install 4:11 gears along with big thumpity cams. If you need to drive interstates on a regular basis, stick to the stock ford pi intake, dont go over 3:75 gears
