ok so i have a 95 GT with a stock motor except for stock ported upper/lower intake..a guy i know will sell me a motor from a 97 explorer motor it has gt40p heads, intake and special headers for the gt40p's..the block is the same as a mustang i believe...its the complete motor it has 2000 miles on it..he will sell it to me for $900...i have a wolverine 1087 cam waiting to be put in my car the question is..

my motor has 150k should i just buy the gt40p heads,U/L intake, and headers for $600 and put them on my car with the 1087 or just buy his whole motor and swap his motor for mine and just sell/keep my stock motor...which is more worth it? also will all the sensors and everything be the same from my car to hook up to the motor of course im useing my computer and eveything to hook up to the motor

That sounds like a pretty good deal if that motor he is selling only has 2000 miles on it i would probably do it.

Id buy the whole thing and build it up some more and throw that cam in there and port the heads and intake out some more. Then when your ready swap it.
