So about a month or so ago I went on a quest to get more MPG and more efficiency out of the Mustang. I started by cleaning the MAF, throttle body, plenum, and IAC, and that got me for 17.5 all around to a surprising 20 MPG, I was very happy with that but wanted to see how far I could get. I then purchased a SCT, and with that I got 21.5 on 87 octane. Now I just bumped up to the 91 tune and dropped in a MAC cold air and am hoping to see 22.5-23 MPG. Now from what I have heard my next thing should be a throttle body and plenum, (mind you all this is also to bring more power), but I have been told to polish out the stock tb and plenum which will cause it to flow like a 70 mm, has anyone tried this? Also what do you guys recommend besides the obvious PI swap? Thanks in advance
