hey guys, maybe you can help me with a new problem. when i'm slowing down from highway speedsmy rpm's suddenly drop instead of doing it gradually. all my vac.lines seem ok. i used to be able to make it stop using my cruise control, but that doesn't work anymore. tried unhooking it from my throttle to see if that made a difference. nope. anybody else ever have this before? thanks for any help...

no one else has any ideas? think i'll change my tranny filter & fluid, it's due anyway....

Do you have an auto? I don't think its your transmission causing the problem. If it was slipping, your RPM would rise.

It sounds IAC related to me as well. I would replace the IAC. Cleaning them doesn't always work.

ya sounds like either your IAC or your crank sensor. check the crank sensor and clean the connections

ok. i'll get another iac & check the crank sensor. thanks guys. what do ya think about the throttle position sensor? whenever i get it fixed i'll let you guys know what it was...

I doubt its the TPS. I had a dead TPS on my motorcycle and had no ill effects from it. I realize that's not a fair comparison though.
