you COULD pull the valve covers to figure out the max lift of the cam and try to cross reference but there isn't really an easy way

The whistle could be the tb. R series might be a little large for the current setup but it will help later on if i boost it. I dont knkw the cam in it but it does have a healthy lope. Does anyone know how to find out the specs on a cam without removing it?
i know the whistle is coming from the tb bc my tb on my fox did the same thing ppl swore up and down that i had some kinda turbo or s/c on there they never belived it was my tb

That's a really nice looking foxbody. I think you made a good choice! I love my 98 but I had a couple of foxbody 5.0's in the past and they were sooo much more fun to drive

Ya. When i first pulled up to the local spot none of my friends would beleive me that it wasnt boosted until i popped the hood. Lol. Its pretty loud at idle. Sounds like an old paxton novi or something. Ha!
