Yes that's normal but you have them facing the wrong way. [/img]

that pic is the drivers side front. they ARE facing the correct way.. if i switched sides they would just LOOK like they are on backwards.

i put them on according to the installation guide, and common sense

thanks good info but

"Bottom line - don't use the slots to decide which side to mount the rotor. Pay attention to the internal cooling vanes. For slotted rotors with straight internal cooling vanes, the direction of the slots is totally up to you and what you think looks best. In this case, there is no wrong answer."

Oh ok. Yeah I've seen those before. I'm not sure if I like them with the Saleens or not though. However I love your car. I totally copied it when I was looking for mods for my car. No joke.

Thanks bro. My buddy copied nearly everything of mine on his black Cobra (except he kept his oem skirts). We go to cruises and car shows and he says that I copied him. What an ass LOL

I love the way they look with my wheels. What did you copy from my car? besides the wheels?

Clear corners and an S281 wing will be on when I get it repainted. When I was going threw the "laser red" cobra photo gallery I used yours as what I wanted mine to look like. I don't have the clears on in my sig. However I will remain with skirts.

will slotted/dimpled rape my brake pads?
also, anyone tried EBC? i cant decide between EBC and powerslots. powerslots cost more but not by much so im not worried about that

Stay away from Dimpled rotors. Some make a lot of noise, almost like the old playing card in the spokes sound. Not all make the noise, but some do. Yes Slotted/drilled, slotted/dimpled and slotted will wear the pads faster.

To address a few issues in this thread.

1. You want the vanes to be venting out of the rotor, not pulling the air into the hub. If you are pulling the air into the hub, you are keeping all the heat in there, and not cooling your brakes properly.

2. The sweep area of the Cobra caliper is what it's supposed to look like on the pictures. The caliper that's commonly used on Cobras was originally designed for use on a 12 inch rotor. As it was moved onto a 13 inch rotor for more torque, the sweep did not increase. If you want to see the rotor being used completely, check out what Brembo kit looks like. I am converting from Cobra to Brembo this week, because I want to drive past the capabilities of Cobra calipers.
