I am need of new tires and have been shopping around a little bit. I was just going to replace the fronts for now and the rears later. I am pretty much looking for the cheapest decent tire. I am going to run 245/40/17 in the front and would like to have at least 285/40/17 in the rear. Does anyone have any suggestions on tires? :TY:

I have B.F. Goodrich G-Force tires. I have had good wear out of them. I have about 30k on them. My only complaint is they are noisy.

i had a brand new set of michillen pilot's, last year. They were great tires, but they only lasted about 6000miles :dunno:

Are those the G-Force Sports? I'm in the market for a pair of those right now and was wondering how you like the tires overall. Traction wet/dry... whatever else needs to be said about tires...

Overall they have been good to me. My car is a daily driver. It gets used in the rain and snow. I have no out of the ordinary traction issues. They are pretty wide so you need to be aware of your suroundings in the rain to avoid hydroplaining.

I have had very good wear life out of the tires. Ofcourse it helps that I don't do burnouts, keep them properly inflated, and rotate them about every 5k miles.

My one complaint is they make allot if road noise.

I've tried Sumitomos (on the car when I got it), BFG Comp T/A's and I'm now running BFG G-force's in the front and Vredestein Sessantas in the back. The Sessanta's are freaking awesome. I've never driven on a tire that cuts through puddles of water like these do.
