After thirty years of wanting one, I finally got it.
I've wanted a Jeep since I was old enough to know what a Jeep was. Every time I came close to getting one, something would come up and keep me from it. Either I couldn't afford it at the time, it would get sold before I could get to it, etc...
Finally, I have my Jeep. 1994 Wrangler YJ 4-cyl 5-speed with a hard top. It's even a color I like! Has American Racing wheels on it that are similar to the "Renegade" wheels of that era. Even has a spare to match. The craziest part is, I got it for $600!
The only real issues this thing has is that the floor pan under the driver's feet is rusted through (I have an old Danger: High Voltage sign covering the hole right now) and a couple of rot-spots on the frame. Nothing that affects how it drives.
Even though I would have rather had the 4.0L Inline Six engine, this little 4-popper actually gets surprisingly good fuel mileage. I'm willing to trade some extra power for that, since I drive 45 minutes to work and back each direction.
