Made it out to the strip today for my second time. Pretty much stock 96 Cobra (112,000 miles) with mild bolt ons and 18" 315 street tires. Previous best was a 14.2 @ 99 and a 2.1 60 ft. The best run today looked like this:

60: 2.200
330: 5.986
1/8: 9.063
MPH: 78.92
1000: 11.720
1/4: 13.925
MPH: 102.94

So even though my 60ft was terrible, my ET dropped by 3 tenths and an increase of 3 MPH. Temps were mid 70s. Shifting @ 6500 rpms. Only mods since previous best were O/R H pipe and aluminum driveshaft. Anything stand out other than the obvious 60 ft times?...need driver mod and some drag radials to fix that. What would be a good goal ET for the next trip with drag radials?

To get the 60ft time down I'm definitely getting a set of drag radials. In the mean time, what would be considered a decent 60ft on street tires?

2.1 2.0 something a long there. Street tires usually have 2.2 to 2.3. Anything below a 2.0 on street tires is awesome but you need good track prep and good foot/clutch movement to pull that off
