Good begining with the music and then letting us hear the stang go down the track for the rest. Real good job. Only thing I would add is at the end of each run, let us know what the times are for each if you have them. I see you kicked some ass, but numbers would help me. Nice driving.

A common thing with home made vids is overdoing the transitions. In the first part with all the pictures every change is a different transition. This looks like they are used like new toys and detracts from the video. Like I said, this is common when starting out making vids. Sometimes just changing the pics with less transitions will enhance the effect of the transitions you do use. Also choose transitions which seem to fit the feel of what you want to convey.

In the "Quickstang vs. Lightning" you left out the "t" in Lightning.

Another common issue among new video makers is the lack of the use of a tripod. A tripod will take out the shakiness. A rock solid camera really looks much more professional.

Your car looks nice and it certainly comes out of the hole well. Looks pretty cool pulling the front end up some too. I agree with what others have said, if we can't see the time clock please post times.

We have moved since the videos and I can't find where I put the time slips I just know there in my folder of under 7.9's. I wanted to post the actual slip at the end. The videos are taken with a digital camera. Yeah this is new to me I have been trying to get a friend to help me but he works all the time and has a new gf.

If you have a small camera you can get by with just a regular photo camera tripod.

I'll be shooting my wife's car at the drags in the next month sometime. She wants me to drive which means she is going to run the camera, which means giving up that control. It will be mounted on a tripod but as far as panning and zooming......it will be up to her inexperience. Hopefully I will be able to talk her into taking it down the strip and I will be able to shoot it the way I want. She's getting into it on the streets now so hopefully she will be ready for the track.

If you have someone who thinks like you do and sees things in their head the same as you, this is the perfect person to have do the shooting. I had that as a teenager on a film we were shooting (old 8mm film). It is rare to find someone like that though.

Keep at it. You learn as you go and as you get more input. I am still learning myself. I don't think you are ever "done".
