I like the look a lot better than the last wheels, some deep dish rears would really put it over the top. Just curious why did you go with 05+ wheels?

well actually a friend sold them too me for 100 bux so it was a no brainer lol

yea i liked the old xxr wheels but after 6 days i started too realize how cheap made they were.........and i think these accent the car very well.........im gonna get a pair of staggered for the rear in a few weeks

What was wrong with the XXRs? I know DFGMagic just got a set & I think 330CubedGT is thinking about buying a set. Maybe you can let us know what was cheap about them?

well the chrome plating was laid like shit.......when i polished them i could tell that it was only a matter of time before i was blasting them and powdercoating lol......and they were uni lug so that was kinda a bummer........so i think if i ever order another set of xxr wheels i will go with like a satin or matte black...........and im not saying that every xxr wheel is made like that(could have just been mine), but what do u expect for a set of wheels thatare under $700.00 brand new

That's exactly what i'm thinking lol. I don't see how that was hard. Opened thread first thing I saw was s197 black bullitts that don't look good on new edge cobras. I wish I had this car so I can do it some justice lol..not hating I just don't like yalls taste lol

To each their own. They don't look too bad I just fell in love with the second update of pictures you put up. The machined 03 cobras. No offense meant i'm just a fan of traditional wheels lol not including the 08 bullitts.
