new wheels UPDATED pics: better pics of wheel spacers installed

sunday i got my cousin's old wheels/tires, paid only $600 for them, so we decided to go get some pics, i installed the shorty antenna last week...here are some pics from sunday

i ordered spacers for the rear from the link 1STOF3 gave couple other ppl, they will be here tomorrow, ill update this thread when i get them installed

Looks good to me!! I think they look proportionate, too! Right side wall, & stuff, I mean.

I think I had centercaps like those on my Cobra R's? There was 'VPR' in red above the snake's head, though. Looks very cool!

thanks man, im hoping to put on 275/40's on the rear, depending on how much room i have to play with after the spacers

I have 275/40-17 on mine with the spacers. I had 1 small place on my rear driver's side that was cutting my tire. I had my mechanic hammer it back when I noticed it. Then my buddy with the 03 Cobra rented one of those fender roller things to do to his. Since we use the same guy, I had mine rolled back to.

I just remembered I had that done as I was typing. Before that spot, they were fine though. I'm pretty sure they were OK.

If you're gonna run 275 w/ that spacer, I think you should be safe. You shouldn't have to roll your fenders.

looks pretty good man! one thing that struck me, the 3rd breaklight would look better tinted aswell.

well it did have a 3rd brake light decal on it.......for only 4 hrs..state trooper pulled me over b/c there wasnt much of the brake light showing through w/ the decal i had

Looks good man. I think with the spacers it will look that much better. I like the wheels. I was looking into get the original Cobra R's from a a guy that says they need to be refinished but he only wanted 150 for them.
