http://1drv.ms/1SdmzeMGreetings all, new to the forum. I bought a 95 GT convertible that I am fixing up. I am confused as to this wiring in the steering column. I think a previous owner changed something. Anyway do you guys know what this wiring is? I think that the little grey thing goes in the groove in the column for the ignition switch. Thanks.

looks like they bypassed the pats system to me. Does your hey have the thick black plastic part with the transponders spot in the back?

Sorry, still learning how to do pictures. I assume the little gray thing soldered onto the green and yellow wire slides into the groove on the ignition cylinder.

At some point a previous owner installed an ignition switch from an earlier Ford. I swapped it out for the correct part. I had to solder the black clip that goes on the edge of the cylinder.
