I took out the plastic scoops and cut out some sheet metal that fit and epoxied it in, then used some Evercoat to shape it a little. Did the same thing with the "snorkels" on the hood.

i fn hate those things on the hood! wish i woulda had mine shave when i got the car painted! we have the same hood, i like it w/o the "snorkles"
